Natasha Hemmerling joined our firm in September 2009 and is a key member of our Civil and Commercial Team.  Natasha’s practice traverses corporate law and civil and commercial litigation, building and construction law, insolvency law and civil and commercial dispute resolution.

Natasha graduated from the University of Adelaide in 2001 and holds a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) and a Bachelor of Arts, majoring in Politics.

Prior to joining Camatta Lempens, Natasha worked in both small and large-sized law firms in Adelaide.  Natasha has represented clients in a range of litigious matters in all South Australian Courts and the Federal Court of Australia.  She has also advised clients on a range of contractual issues that arise during, and after, the contract administration phase of infrastructure projects as well as being involved in advising on, and drafting, a variety of contracts for public and private companies in respect of third party transactions, the sale and purchase of businesses and risk management prevention.

Natasha is an experienced negotiator and is well versed in all forms of alternative dispute resolution including mediation, arbitration and expert determinations.

An integral part of Natasha’s practice is to provide clients with quality advice in a time and cost effective manner.  This necessitates the early identification of business risks to clients along with the provision of practical solutions to solve problems typically faced by clients in a variety of civil and commercial situations.  Natasha’s practical, civil and commercial advice saw her appointment in September 2008 as the independent chairperson of the Plumbing Industry Association of SA Inc, a position that she continues to hold.

When Natasha is not in the office she enjoys frequenting Adelaide’s wide range of fantastic restaurants, relaxing with a novel or exercising, and can often be seen walking her two beloved miniature schnauzers.
