Corporate and Commercial Law
Peter joined Camatta Lempens in 2016 having worked for a number of small legal practices in South Australia since his admission to the Supreme Court of South Australia in 2011.
Peter has expertise within civil and commercial law. His experience includes advising private companies, company directors, sole traders and individuals on various legal matters including contracts, multi-party commercial negotiations, strategy and risk management. Peter regularly acts as instructing solicitor in complex commercial disputes, estates litigation and Inheritance (Family Provision) Act claims.
Appreciating the increasing importance of Dispute Management and Conflict Resolution methods, Peter completed post-graduate studies to broaden his repertoire of skills in these practice areas. Peter not only acts as a mediation advocate but he is also an accredited mediator under the Australian National Mediator Accreditation System (NMAS). Peter is one of the mediators on the Panel of Private Qualified Mediators in the Magistrates Court of South Australia.
Peter is also actively involved in legal education and is an Associate Teacher at the University of Adelaide's Law School.
