Franco Camatta is one of the two founding partners, commencing practice with Robert Lempens on the day before both graduated from law school.
Franco’s practice traverses corporate and commercial law, insolvency law, finance and securities law, property law, and business and industrial law. He has a long history of professional and community service, including the Insolvency Practitioners Association of Australia, the Australian Institute of Judicial Administration, the Taxation Institute of Australia, the Federal Court of Australia Liaison Committee and the South Australian Council of Social Services. He is a qualified mediator and is President of Relationships Australia (SA) Inc. During 2006-2007 he was engaged with the Asian Development Bank in the Lao PDR. Franco serves on the Nurses Board of South Australia, and is the coordinator of the Commercial and Corporate Practice course at the Law Society of South Australia’s Graduate programme.
Franco is a Senior Lecturer at the Flinders Law School. He is a keen international traveller, and loves good food and fine wines.
