Definitions:
Estate:
The total of all your assets including, but not limited to, your home, other properties, belongings, contents of bank accounts and all other items belonging to you.
Probate:
Where there is a Will in existence, the Supreme Court appoints the executor of the estate of the deceased, in accordance with that Will.
Letters of Administration:
Where there is no Will in existence, the Supreme Court appoints an administrator to handle the estate of the deceased person.
