Michelina joined the firm in 2008 in the Commercial Team advising on commercial transactions and commercial litigation matters.
Having been admitted to the Supreme Court of South Australia in 1979, she became a partner in an Adelaide firm before relocating to Hong Kong in the mid 1980s to join the Monetary Authority of Hong Kong where she remained for 10 years.
As Deputy General Counsel of the Monetary Authority, Michelina advised on the regulation of the banking sector and the development of the financial markets.
After a brief stint in Adelaide at the end of the 1990s when she was consultant at another large city firm, Michelina and the family relocated to the United Kingdom during which time she set up and managed a retail shop in the village where the family lived.
Now back in Adelaide, Michelina enjoys spending time with her family, acting as taxi driver/counsellor/bank for her two girls as well as gardening and cooking.
