Expertise

Franco Camatta is one of the two founders of the practice.

Franco has the status of adjunct Associate Professor of Law at the Flinders University Law School. He teaches in commercial legal subjects at undergraduate level and graduate programs offered by the Law School

Franco's practice traverses corporate and commercial law. He has an interest in insolvency law, property and securities law. During 2006-2007 he was engaged with the Asian Development Bank in the Lao PDR.  He advises many corporations from SME's through to ASX listed entities.

Franco has a long history of professional and community service, including the Insolvency Practitioners Association of Australia, the Australian Institute of Judicial Administration, the Taxation Institute of Australia, the Federal Court of Australia Liaison Committee and the South Australian Council of Social Services. He is a qualified mediator and is President of Relationships Australia (SA) Inc.

Franco serves a Special Member on the Nurses Board of South Australia, and is the co-ordinator of the Commercial and Corporate Practice course at the Law Society of South Australia's Graduate programme.

He is a keen international traveller, and loves good food and fine wines.
